Who we are and what this covers
This policy explains how HackTheFort handles information when you visit hackthefort.com or send an institute enquiry. If an institute or its students use the platform during a trial or deployment, we will provide the applicable platform privacy details and written terms before that use; this website policy does not replace them.
Information we collect
When you submit the institute trial request form, we collect the details you provide: your name, institute, role, department, email address, phone number, state or union territory, city, approximate batch size, and selected areas of interest. We also record when you accepted the privacy notice.
Our analytics tools may collect information about visits and use of the site, such as pages viewed, interactions, browser and device details, and approximate location derived from technical data.
How we use information
We use enquiry details to respond to you, understand your institute’s requirements, and arrange a free 15-day trial or demonstration. We use site analytics to understand and improve the website. We do not use the enquiry form to subscribe you to unrelated marketing.
Service providers and transfers
We use Neon to store enquiry records, Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to measure website use, and service providers that operate the website. These providers process information to provide their services to us. Their systems may process information outside your country, subject to their security practices and applicable law.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies. You can limit cookies through your browser settings and use Google’s available analytics opt-out controls. Blocking analytics technologies may affect measurement but should not prevent you from submitting the enquiry form.
Retention and security
We keep enquiry records while they are needed to respond to the enquiry, manage the institute relationship, or meet legal obligations. We do not currently publish a fixed automatic deletion period. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, or withdraw your permission for further enquiry follow-up, by emailing contact@hackthefort.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The date above shows when it was last revised. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to contact@hackthefort.com.
